On Wednesday we hopped on a ferry to visit Victoria, Canada. We had to wake up at 6:30 because it was an hour drive to where the boat took off - in Port Angeles. The trip on the boat took a while, but we had plenty to do, like: look for whales and seals, listen to music, and eat food. When we got off the ferry we had to go through light customs. We stopped at a cafe in town to get a bite to eat, then went to rent bikes. We took off on our bike and after 15 minutes into the ride, we started to ride along the coast. We rolled up a down hills and noticed that there were a ton of cool modern houses. One house that overlooked the open ocean had the entire back wall as a window! We even had to turn around to get a picture of the amazing view and awesome house. After the ride, we walked to an ice cream shop to get a two scooper. Later, after we got dinner, we got back on the ferry and heading back to Port Townsend. HANK

Hank,it must have been great to be in your Dads Canadian country roots. Probably worth getting up at 6:30. Did you have high tea and crumpets in Victoria? Glad to see you hooked up with Canadian friends for hoops, as they are usually playing hockey. I think Meg is jealous of the dog in pic. The shore pic looks like Falmouth. Is that an NC hat you have on in Pic where you took "fairy" accross water?
ReplyDeleteGlad you took ferry accross water Hank. Some humor prob doesn't always work. Love Ya!
