Mt Bachelor in May

Dumping snow May 4th!

Back at our house 20 miles from the mountain
Jack & I spent the day at Mt. Bachelor, after a storm dumped 9"s of fresh snow. It was the first time we have ever skied in May and the snow was perfect! There is still a 150" base and they plan to be open until June. As we drove toward the mountain there was absolutely no snow, in fact we passed a golf course 5 miles from the base of the mountain where it was 55 degrees and sunny.  Awesome time at the mountain and then a perfectly mowed lawn back at the house...same day!
